The printer error of not recognising a newly installed cartridge, either by flashing light or message Cartridge Not Recognised; is quite common amongst all types or genuine and compatible cartridges.

It occurs when the printer fails to recognize the ID of the new cartridge, instead still looking for and trying to match the ID of the old cartridge.

Procedure:

1. Remove cartridge/s
2. Turn power off at the wall
3. Wait 90 seconds (minimum)
4. Restore power
5. Re-install the cartridge/s
